Noon Sakinah and Tanween

A noon sakinah or tanween followed by ب is converted into a hidden meem, held with a nasal sound for two counts.

How to pronounce it
Replace the noon with a meem sound, keep the lips lightly together without pressing, and hold the ghunnah for two counts before the ba.

Common mistakes
- Pressing the lips fully shut, which produces a hard meem instead of a hidden one.
- Skipping the ghunnah and going straight to the ba.
