A noon sakinah or tanween followed by any of the remaining fifteen letters is hidden — neither fully pronounced nor fully merged — with a two-count nasal sound.

How to pronounce it
Do not touch the tongue to the gum ridge as you would for a clear noon. Let the sound sit in the nose for two counts while the mouth prepares the next letter.

Common mistakes
