Quran classes for adults
Adults concentrate for as long as the material warrants. The constraint is the calendar, not attention, so lessons are longer and less frequent.
- Lesson length
- 45 minutes
- Lessons a week
- 1–3
- Age range
- 18+
Where most students start
Often reading slowly with errors carried since childhood, or starting from nothing. Adults usually know exactly what they cannot do, which makes diagnosis quick.
What is expected at home
None. The student sets their own pace and schedule.
What usually gets in the way
- Finding a consistent slot around work
- Self-consciousness about starting late
- Unlearning habits held for decades
What they usually want
- Read without embarrassment
- Correct long-standing errors
- Understand the meaning
