Idgham without Ghunnah
Noon Sakinah and Tanween
إدغام بغير غنة
A noon sakinah or tanween followed by ل or ر merges completely into that letter with no nasal sound at all.

How to pronounce it
The noon disappears and the lam or ra is doubled. Unlike the previous rule, no hum is held — the transition is immediate.

Common mistakes
- Adding ghunnah out of habit from the previous rule.
