Our Quran tutors
Every profile here belongs to a teacher who has agreed to be listed. Qualifications are checked before they appear, and a profile shows nothing that has not been verified.
How tutors are verified
What a badge on this page means
Checked before it appears
Each qualification carries a verification flag. Until someone has seen the evidence it is not shown at all — not greyed out, not “pending”, simply absent.
Ijazah needs its chain
The badge requires both that the tutor holds one and that the chain of transmission has been checked. Two conditions, because the first without the second is only a claim.
Suitability to teach children
Recorded per tutor and shown as its own badge, so it is clear which tutors have been checked rather than which are assumed to be fine.

Questions about our tutors
What does a badge on a tutor profile mean?
That someone has seen the evidence for it. Each credential carries a verification flag, and until it is set the qualification is not shown at all — not greyed out, not marked pending, simply absent.
Why do some profiles show fewer badges than others?
Because those credentials have not been verified yet, not because the tutor lacks them. We would rather show less than imply something we have not checked.
Can I request a female tutor?
Yes. You choose when you book and it stays the same tutor for every lesson unless you ask to change.
Are tutors background-checked?
Safeguarding checks are recorded per tutor and shown as their own badge, so you can see which tutors have been checked rather than assuming all of them have.
Will we get the same tutor every lesson?
Yes. Continuity is the point of teaching one to one, and a change only happens if you ask for one or a tutor stops teaching with us.
If your question is not here, ask it. We would rather answer honestly now than have you find out after enrolling.
Meet the tutor before deciding anything
The trial is a real lesson with the tutor you would actually get, and it ends with an honest assessment.
