How tutors are verified
A credential you can check, or nothing at all
This is the part of the site that cost the most to build and says the least. Every qualification is gated behind a verification flag, and an unverified one does not render.
- Qualifications are checked before they appearEach credential carries a verification flag. Until someone has seen the evidence, the qualification is not shown at all — not greyed out, not "pending", simply absent.
- An Ijazah is shown only with its chainThe badge requires both that the tutor holds one and that the chain of transmission has been checked. Two separate conditions, because the first without the second is just a claim.
- Suitability to teach childrenBackground checks are recorded per tutor and shown as their own badge, so it is clear which tutors have been checked rather than which are assumed to be fine.
The same rule governs everything else here. There is no student count on this page, no years-teaching figure and no review score, because the academy has not yet supplied numbers it could defend. When it does, they will appear — and they will be real.

Is the trial lesson really free?
Yes. It is a full lesson with a tutor, not a sales call, and it ends with a written assessment of where the student is. We do not ask for payment details to book it.
Can my daughter be taught by a female teacher?
Yes. You choose the tutor’s gender when you book, and it stays the same tutor for every lesson unless you ask to change.
My child has never read Arabic. Where do they start?
With Noorani Qaida, which begins at the individual letters and builds to joined words. No prior Arabic is assumed, and the first lessons are short because that is what works at that stage.
What times are lessons available?
Tutors teach across a wide range of hours so lessons can sit in your evening rather than ours. Tell us the window that works and we match a tutor who is genuinely free then.
How long are the lessons?
It depends on the student. Twenty minutes for a young child, thirty for most children, forty-five for teenagers and adults. A longer lesson for a five-year-old does not teach more.
What happens if we miss a lesson?
Tell us in advance and the slot is rescheduled. Continuity matters more than any single lesson, so the plan absorbs a missed week rather than falling apart.
Do you teach adults who are starting from nothing?
Regularly. Adults usually know exactly what they cannot do, which makes the first assessment quick. Lessons are longer and less frequent than a child’s because the constraint is the calendar, not attention.
Are lessons one to one?
Always. There are no group classes, so the pace follows the student rather than the middle of a room.
