Lesson length and why
Adults concentrate for as long as the material warrants. The constraint is the calendar, not attention, so lessons are longer and less frequent.
Where most students start
Often reading slowly with errors carried since childhood, or starting from nothing. Adults usually know exactly what they cannot do, which makes diagnosis quick.
What is expected at home
None. The student sets their own pace and schedule.
How long it takes
Makharij Training typically runs 8–20 weeks at 1–3 lessons a week. The range is wide because it moves with revision between lessons more than with anything that happens in them.
