Islamic Manners and Character for Young Children (ages 4–7) — Female Teacher
Islamic Manners and Character for young children (ages 4–7), taught with a female teacher in 20-minute lessons, 3–5 lessons a week. Adab — how a Muslim behaves with family, neighbours and strangers.
Lesson length and why
Twenty minutes is the working limit at this age. A longer lesson does not teach more; it teaches the child that lessons are something to endure. Short and frequent beats long and weekly every time.
Where most students start
Usually no Arabic letters at all, and often no experience of a structured lesson. Reading ability in their first language may still be forming.
What is expected at home
A parent sits within earshot for the first few weeks, mainly so the child is settled and the device works. After that, five minutes of daily review at home matters more than anything that happens in the lesson.
How long it takes
Islamic Manners and Character typically runs 12–28 weeks at 3–5 lessons a week. The range is wide because it moves with revision between lessons more than with anything that happens in them.
