Duas from the Quran for Teenagers (ages 12–17) — Male Teacher
Duas from the Quran for teenagers (ages 12–17), taught with a male teacher in 45-minute lessons, 2–4 lessons a week. The supplications the prophets made, in their own words.
Lesson length and why
Forty-five minutes is comfortable, and the lesson can go deeper — a teenager can hold a rule, apply it, and explain why it applied. Being talked down to loses them faster than difficulty does.
Where most students start
Extremely varied. Some read fluently and want Tajweed or Hifz; others stopped at eight and are self-conscious about being behind.
What is expected at home
Minimal, and usually better that way. Scheduling around school and exams is the main thing a parent still handles.
How long it takes
Duas from the Quran typically runs 10–24 weeks at 2–4 lessons a week. The range is wide because it moves with revision between lessons more than with anything that happens in them.
What is covered

- 2Duas of Musa
- 3Rabbana duas
- 4Context of each
What usually gets in the way
Specific to teenagers (ages 12–17) — these are the things that actually derail progress for this group.
- Embarrassment at being behind peers
- Exam terms disrupting continuity
- Motivation once it is no longer a parent’s idea
By the end
- Quranic duas memorised with meaning
- Ability to use them in salah
