Lesson length and why
Thirty minutes at a deliberate pace. Repetition is increased and new material introduced more gradually, which suits retention rather than accommodating any deficiency.
Where most students start
Often learned as a child decades ago and retained fragments. Eyesight and screen size are practical considerations more often than learning ability.

How long it takes
Advanced Tajweed typically runs 24–52 weeks at 1–3 lessons a week. The range is wide because it moves with revision between lessons more than with anything that happens in them.
